For a while now I’ve been exploring history as the process by which human beings are expanding our empathic awareness from tribalism to universalism.  I’m not quite done with this concept, but this video by Rifkin touches upon the salient points.

  1. It’s really great animation. To be honset, it made me cry, because I guess I am one of those who has this connection to whole biosphere and physically feels pain of others. It make slife very complicated, but hopefully I will learn how to use this energy in constructive way insted of torturing myself.
