It’s been a while since I posted, but this video project has been sucking down my time. It started as a simple, half-hour informative, but has since evolved into a likely three-part series.

This is Part One in which I give some of the backstory of what I’m calling the Four Pillars War. The Four Pillars War is the concerted strategy on the part of right-wing movements to undermine liberalism by sowing doubt in liberal institutions. The institutions I focus on are what I’m referring to as the Four Pillars: The professional state bureaucracy, free media, science and academia, and public schools.

I’m elaborating on a theoretical frame that I call Dangerous Knowledge. You can get an idea of what I’m talking about from the explainer and the website:
